Alice and Ned's Fort Williams and Portland Headlight Engagement Session

For Alice and Ned’s engagement session at Portland Headlight we brought it back to where it all started. Ned proposed along the paths with the lighthouse in the background so when we were discussing location options for their engagement session there was no question. We were going to Portland Headlight!

I absolutely love afternoons/early evenings in Fort Williams Park because there are just so many options for capturing beautiful scenery and lighting. Nearly everywhere you turn, if you know what to look for, you can find the best dappled light coming through the trees along with the softest light along the coast.

We absolutely lucked out for Alice and Ned’s Portland Headlight engagement because we had the dreamiest of poofy clouds in the background which meant they picked up the light from the setting sun and totally coordinated with Alice and Ned’s outfits! We strolled along the beach, hiked up some rocks, and they snuggled in the sun all while we talked about their plans for their wedding day and what they were looking forward to the most. It was a perfect evening!!
