Planning for your Maternity Session | Maine Maternity Photographer
What should I wear?
That's the biggest question I get when it comes to maternity session. I get it! I remember being pregnant and not being able to figure out a single thing to wear on a regular day let alone planning for having my portraits taken.
The answer can vary greatly depending on where you’ve selected to have your portraits taken and the time of year. It can be pretty confusing and stressful trying to decide what outfits work best. But don’t worry! We are here to help all the way through the planning process with styling tips and tricks to select clothing and accessory options that are perfectly tailored to your portraits.
Below are a few of our favorite maternity looks and below those are links to a few of our dream gowns. We are always up for ordering new gowns for the studio so while you're thinking about your session, look through our dream gown links!
Winter Maternity Session
We've worked a lot at the Ice Castles for our Winter Maternity Sessions because nothing says "Wow" like being surrounded by a scene that looks like something from a Disney movie.
This maternity session was in a park down the street from mom's house. She had the color theme in mind and we made a matching tutu for her daughter and brought along a warm cream blanket to add to the snowy scene.
Summer Maternity Sessions
Here's another one of our favorite gowns. I love the tossing train on this light blue gown. It looks perfect in a field of flowers and on the coastline!
