Bar Harbor Family Portraits | The H Family strolls the Shore Path
There's something very magical about Bar Harbor family portraits. I love visiting the island and love when families ask us to come out to photograph their vacations there. We've had the great pleasure of being in the area a few times this year to capture both immediate and extended families. For this particular Bar Harbor family portraits we were hired by another photographer. No pressure. None at all. Insert nervousness here. Thankfully Melissa and her family were a breeze to work and her daughter did not have photographers child syndrome. What's that you ask? If you chat with any photographer who has kids - those kids hate having their photos taken. But Melissa's little LOVED having her portraits taken. She struck some sassy poses, giggled and was so well behaved the entire time.
I love that the H family showed up in the most amazing colors that complimented the natural beauty of the water and tones of the boats, but also looked fabulous with that sunset. I mean, just look at the light in the photos below! So dreamy.
Dean and I absolutely love Bar Harbor family portraits and are looking to book a ton more of these throughout the year! A lot of downtown Bar Harbor is open well into October so it's not too late to book your family vacation and portraits! Yes, school is back in session, but there's lots of fun educational options for kids - so don't feel guilty! There's lobster boat tours, the Oceanarium, whale and wildlife watching tours, and so much more opportunities to build in some "real life" learning!
