Personal Adventures! Bar Harbor Lifestyle Session and Camping Trip

So I've been slacking a bit on sharing some of our fun adventures! One of the great things about traveling the state for work is I also get to bring the kids along. For this adventure we were hired to photograph a family portrait session in Bar Harbor. Typically I make that a day trip, have some lunch, make beautiful portraits and then head home. But for this mid-week Bar Harbor family session, I thought it would be super fun to bring the kids along for an exciting first camping trip/ladies week. We are fortunate to have family all over the state so while working the session, the girls got to hang out with family. These are just some personal snaps from our little Sony a6000. Sometimes its fun to take out the "toy" camera for some shots and not lug around the full gear.

Here we are at the Penobscot Narrows Bridge Observatory. And I'm pretty sure it was the last time the kids were clean. The decided that shoes were off-limits at the campground and playing in the dirt was a must!

Anyone who's been to Bar Harbor lately know that parking and driving through Acadia National Park is a challenge. So much traffic! We were finally able to secure some parking and take a hike around Jordan Pond!

Breakfast over the fire! Almost every meal we had except popovers and lobster stew from Jordan Pond House was cooked over an open fire.

Thanks for strolling through some of our personal photos. It's so fun to share a bit of our every-day life! And a huge thank you to our clients and couples who make working throughout the state, and getting a week off to camp with the kiddos possible!
