Farm Wedding | Quakertown Wedding Photographers | Rebecca and Andrew's fun filled wedding
Today's edition of Things You Thought You'd Never Say... "Where's the groom?" "He's over there dancing with the dinosaur."
Rebecca and Andrew, along with their family and friends, may be the sweetest people we've ever met! Their wedding day was filled with so much love it even managed to change the weather. I'm not joking. The day before their wedding the forecast was 90% rain with thunderstorms the entire day. We had nearly cloudless blue skies the entire day capped off with some puffy clouds at sunset.
We first met Rebecca and Andrew on their trip to Maine when they wanted to get some scenic oceanfront engagement images. They both are from Pennsylvania so while the ocean isn't that far away from them, it isn't some where they get to visit every day. We made the most of their trip and session - making them get in our icy cold water. I was surprised after we tortured them with the icy cold Atlantic that they asked us to come to out to be their Quakertown wedding Photographers!
The morning of their wedding Andrew and his guys got ready at his childhood home while Rebecca got ready at her mothers home. Andrew and his guys were so excited for the day that the minute the bus arrived to picked them up they were ready and on board - on their way to the church! When I arrived with Rebecca she was in hair and make up with all of her girls around her chatting about the day and helping to keep her relaxed.
After the amazing and lighthearted ceremony the bride and groom exited the church to a cloud of bubbles! They spent time greeting each guest and chatting before heading off to the reception at a beautiful barn venue a few miles down the road.
Being that it is Pennsylvania, there are a lot of barns (most are still in use at horse farms) - so believe me when I tell you this barn was stunning! The ceiling had chandeliers and strung cafe lights throughout and the outside had sitting areas, lanterns, lawn games, cafe tables, and of course, a working John Deere Tractor. Which we spent a while chatting with the brides brother on how you pluralize "John Deere". Since multiple deer are still "deer" are multiple John Deere tractors still "John Deere" or "Deeres"? We may never know.
It was a warm evening but that didn't stop everyone from tearing up the dance floor all night! There was even an appearance by a T-Rex!
