Allie and Brian's Breakwater Inn and Spa Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographers

Allie and Brian hoped for a beautiful day for their Breakwater Inn and Spa wedding and they certainly got it! The temperatures creeped near 80 for their 1st day of fall wedding - which was perfect for their guests to enjoy the outdoor ceremony space at St. Ann’s in Kennebunkport. This leads me to another point - don’t take the sunblock out of the camera bag just because it’s officially fall. When lining up portraits, etc I put everyone’s back to the sun so they’re not squinting, which means I’m facing the sun and have a fun little sunburn in the spots of my face the camera doesn’t cover. It’s quite hilarious!

Allie started the day prepping with her ladies, mom and aunt in their summer home in a magical spot just down the street from everything in Kennebunkport. It was fun walking through the house and seeing years of memories on the wall, grandparents portraits with Allie and all her cousins, meaningful poems, a letter about “my favorite place” written by another one of Allie’s cousins. Allie’s family also planned on hosting the day after brunch at the home so it will be filled with even more memories!

Brian and his guys were over at The Breakwater Inn in one of the suites enjoying their time together, joking around, and soaking in the sun on the balcony overlooking the yard and tent where the reception would be held.

As soon as Brian was in his suit he was off to The Colony Beach for the first look. Brian was on the beach anxiously awaiting her arrival when Allie pulled in in a vintage yellow Buick convertible. When they saw each other the beach erupted in cheers! It was such a fun moment!

After the first look the couple headed over to St. Ann’s for family portraits and some time to relax inside the chapel where the stone walls kept everyone nice and cool before the ceremony at the point. Once they said their “I do’s”, Brian and Allie where whisked away in the Buick to The Breakwater where they go to view the tent and take in all the moments before the guests arrived. Anne and her team at Salty and Sweet Events really did an amazing job bringing Allie and Brian’s vision to life. Everything about their day was perfect!

The partied the night away - the dance floor packed to full capacity from start to finish!
