Tara & Suzanne Married in Maine | Maine Wedding Photographer

My first wedding of 2013 and what a wedding it was!  Memorial Day Weekend was forecasted to be an icky rainy mess, with Saturday being the worst, but we all were very optimistic. I'm so thankful that the weather held out and was overcast with slight drizzle during the day. Tara and Suzanne were still able to hold their ceremony outdoors in the pear tree blossoms just outside of the living room of the (giant) home they rented in York Harbor. Oh my goodness the entire day was absolutely gorgeous! We started with portraits in and around the house and then the ceremony in the garden wrapping up with a quick trip down to York Beach for portraits! After the portraits it was back up to the house for the cake cutting, first dance and then everyone let loose on the dance floor set up in the great room and noshed on lots of great food cooked on the grill and prepared by the guests. It was a perfect intimate wedding with all their close friends and family. Everyone contributed and really made this day so unique.Flowers: York Floral Shop  Cake: Let Them Eat Cake Favors: Stonewall Kitchen

These are a few of my faves of the kids playing around the house. They had so much fun running up and down the stairs and all around the house in their fancy dresses. Tara is so goofy I had to include a few of these touching moments when she saw Suzanne for the first time. She cried, I cried, I think we all cried. And here's a goof group shot for Tara :)
