Dave & Mark marry at The Black Point Inn | Scarborough Wedding Photographer
It's not very often I get to be a guest at a wedding. I was very honored to be invited to be a guest at Dave & Marks wedding. I met Dave 8 years ago when I worked as a product photographer for a small catalog company in Kennebunk. Less than 10 months after I started there Dave left for greener pastures and a life with Mark in North Carolina. All of us co-workers kept in touch via Facebook over the years and we were all very excited to be invited to share in their day.Of course, I brought my camera! I typically don't bring my camera to weddings where I'm a guest but I just had to just this once. I knew The Black Point Inn is an absolutely gorgeous location and it was a beautiful night and I also knew that Dave & Mark had put their wedding together in a few weeks from a small City Hall ceremony to an intimate wedding for 30. We started with drinks and appetizers on the sun porch followed by a beautiful ceremony officiated over by one of our old co-workers. From there we proceeded into the dining room for an amazing dinner and cake. I managed to sneak the happy couple out for a few photos on the lawn before the sunset.
