We've been Published! Danielle & Josh in Real Maine Weddings Magazine
We've been Published!
I'm so very excited to announce that Danielle & Josh's Aroostock County wedding was published on the blog for Real Maine Weddings Magazine! Their wedding was a real treat. Having family from Houlton I've travelled pretty far north in Maine but I've never been all the way up to Fort Fairfield before! We passed through so many neat towns along the way and some very interesting signs. I think we passed a "share the road" sign that had the symbol for a skate skier.

Danielle and Josh were married where their relationship began—at home in Fort Fairfield, Maine. Their rustic, country wedding was held at Rocking S Ranch and included such details as wild flowers, cowboy boots, jam favors, hay bales, and flower crowns. Danielle’s favorite moment was walking down the stairs and the aisle with her dad toward Josh, and Josh’s favorite moment was watching Danielle walk towards him. “It’s a moment and a feeling that neither one of us will ever forget,” Danielle says. While the wedding itself was sweetly traditional, the father/daughter and mother/son dances were wonderfully unconventional. “My father/daughter dance was to Bon Jovi’s “Dead or Alive” because my dad and I always use to listen to this song while riding our horses,” Danielle says. “Josh and his mother danced to “The Twist” because they are fun-loving, non-traditional souls who love to get down on the dance floor!” In Her Words We asked the bride more about the big day. Here’s what Danielle said… I wish…we could relive the day over and over again. I didn’t realize…how quickly the day would fly by. I’m glad that…we chose an outdoor venue. I really liked…having all of our family and friends together with us to celebrate the day.
