Colony Hotel Wedding in Kennebunkport Maine | Connie and Enrico

Connie and Enrico are old friends at this point. We met them back in 2019 for their engagement session in anticipation of their 2020 Colony Hotel Wedding. COVID had other plans but Connie and Enrico still wanted to celebrate their love for each other. Mid-Pandemic, Dean and I took the trip to Boston to photograph Connie and Enrico exchanging vows by the ocean.

Again, COVID had other plans! We originally had planned on Castle Island however, to encourage people to get outside but still maintain social distancing the entire road leading up to the island was completely shut off to traffic. A half mile plus walk in formal wear was not what they had in mind so we headed to the gazebo at Evan’s Field. Honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Tears were shed (I’m pretty sure by all of us!) and when Connie and Enrico kissed every single person in the park erupted into cheers and clapping. It was really a special moment for these two.

This year when it came time for their Colony Hotel Wedding they were prepped and ready to celebrate! While travel bans kept Enrico’s family from joining in on the day, Connie and Enrico will be headed to Italy to have a third wedding celebration with his family as soon as they can. The couple has really been through a lot of challenges over the past two years and they are so strong for it. You can tell the way they look at each other just how much love they both have for the other.

Who knew that meeting on a dating app “Coffee meets bagel” (which I totally thought was just a foodie app) would lead to this! As their Maid of Honor and Best Man mentioned in their speeches - Connie and Enrico are perfectly matched for each other!

We can’t wait to see them on future adventures! And while we are excited for them to head to Italy for their wedding celebration there when everything opens back up, we wouldn’t complain about photographing them again in their Italian wedding attire!
