Kellie and Seth's Wedding at the Stage Neck Inn | York Maine Wedding Photographers
Kellie and Seth are two of the most authentic people you will ever meet. They, along with most of their family and friends, traveled from a small town in Indiana all the way to York, Maine for their Stage Neck Inn wedding. And you could tell from the moment their guests arrived that they were so very appreciative of every single one of them for making the trip out to celebrate with them.
The couple has spent 7 and a half years together and were so looking forward to their wedding and getting to take in all the little and emotional moments - it couldn’t have been a better day!
I love their proposal story because Kellie describes Seth as a very bad liar because on the night he was going to propose he made up a crazy story about needing to stop at his parents house to deal with a coyote. They were dressed for a nice dinner! Who does that? Seth persuaded Kellie to leave the car to come see the “cute coyote pup” and when she turned the corner into the backyard it was decorated with twinkle lights, music playing, and a photographer to capture the whole moment.
Then flash forward to their wedding day and it turns out Kellie, and the rest of us, are really GOOD liars. So good everyone was able to convince Seth that he was getting a first look with Kellie before the wedding but, in fact, it was one of the groomsmen dressed up in a thrift store gown. Seth was really nervous before the ceremony so this was such a good way to get him to relax and have a great time with the guys. Not to mention, I think KJ really enjoyed feeling pretty in that dress!
