Sarah and Sean's Wedding at Grace in Portland Maine
Poop sandwiches. That’s my big take away from this wedding. That and ordering pizza more often. What?!! It’s definitely one of those had-to-be-there moments. Both Sarah and Sean personalized their vows to include one special thing they promised to do, or not do, more often in their marriage. For Sarah she vowed to consider ordering pizza more often. For Sean, he promised to stop answering the question “what do you want for dinner” with “poop sandwiches”. Since we were doing both photo and videography coverage for their wedding, Dean will have to be creative on editing because I laughed out loud at that one and I’m positive his camera caught my chuckle. Good thing we mic the couple too!
Sarah and Sean’s wedding had so many fun personal touches that made it so special. When we were with the guys getting ready they each had personalized socks for the day. According to Sean he found the most embarrassing photo of each of his attendants and had that printed on socks for them to wear. Sean also had custom socks but his were a perfectly not embarrassing photo of Sarah on them.
While the guys were hanging out at Grace the girls were across the street at the Press Hotel where they were listening to some 90’s hiphop jams and getting ready for the day. Instead of robes, Sarah and her girls had on some super comfortable looking silk PJ sets with fuzzy feather trim. For Sarah’s personal touch, she had a broach bouquet with the Riley family crest as a charm on the bouquet.
“Dayyyumm Sarah” was what Sean exclaimed when he turned around for the 1st look. Dayyumm it was! Sarah looked so stunning in her gown and classic Hollywood side swept hair. Sean also looked stunning in his camel colored suit with emerald green accents. These two were an embodiment of everything Fall.
I can’t wait to share their wedding video as well so you can see and hear all the fun aspects of their ceremony and reception. You haven’t lived until you’ve attended a wedding with a tee shirt toss instead of a bouquet toss! For now you’ll just have to enjoy the photos and feel all the fun!
