Built in 1889 the Samoset Resort sits on over 230 acres of gorgeous ocean front property. Named “The Samoset” after the Pemaquid Chief who was one of the first people to greet the Mayflower Pilgrims, the resort has played host to vacationing families, celebrities and politicians for years. With it’s rich history and dedication to service, the resort has earned it’s spot as one of New England’s premiere luxury resorts.
As Samoset Resort wedding photographers, we are kinda partial to the space. There are endless photographic opportunities all over the property and sometimes it can be hard to choose where to go for portraits! Which is why we are always talking with our couples about the areas on the property that speak to them. Some couples have selected the Samoset because of the amazing golf course and their passion for golfing. Other couples have selected to have their wedding at the Samoset because of the gorgeous ocean views and Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. Thanks to our couples, we are always stretching our creativity and really having a fun time as Samoset Resort wedding photographers.
