Engagement Session in a Greenhouse | Dan and Lisa
Nothing makes me happier on a cold day than getting into a very hot greenhouse! Blackrock Farm in Kennebunkport graciously let us use their beautiful little slice of heaven for part of Dan and Lisa’s Engagement Session. Even letting their dog, Lock, join in! He was super excited to be roaming around the greenhouse too.
I started off their session by meeting them at their car, or I think it was their car. Because it was so cold outside and so hot and humid in the greenhouse I had to get in there early and leave my cameras and my glasses. The minute I walked in my glasses fogged up and I couldn’t see a thing! Something I usually don’t have an issue with except for a few weekends in the summer when the temps and humidity climb while AC is cranking inside.
We had a few good laughs at my blindness before heading to the greenhouse and taking a few moments to acclimate, and for me to finally put on my glasses to properly introduce myself!
Because we couldn’t just pick one spot after the greenhouse we zipped up to Portland for some fancy photos in front of City Hall. I just love the architecture and I don’t get to work there often enough. We ended the session with my favorite thing for couples, snuggling at the bar over at the Press Hotel - warming up and making silly faces!
