You may think having a wedding during a global pandemic might not be the greatest, but Jillian and Nick are here to prove you wrong! This couple decided to forge ahead with their wedding plans, on their original date and it was such a beautiful day, filled with family and friends, beautiful weather, and lots of love! Everything you want in a wedding!
The day started with Nick and some friends getting ready over at their condo on the East End - this was the place to be! With the hottest weather forecasted this year, everyone was able to get ready together in cool air conditioning. Sharing laughs and drinks, Nick’s friends helped him with his cuff links and getting him relaxed and ready for the ceremony!
While Nick was getting ready at their condo, Jillian was downtown with some friends at the beautiful Portland Harbor Hotel. Such a fitting location as their wedding was nautical themed and the hotel itself had gorgeous nautical touches that fit perfectly into their day. After mom helped Jillian button up her gorgeous lace dress it was time to hop into a vintage Land Rover and head to the ceremony.
On the East End, Jillian and Nick celebrated their Fort Allen wedding overlooking the bay, and in a surprise from one of their friends, the Fire Boat on display shooting water into the air. I love how during this time, ever little touch seems that much more meaningful. Family and friends are really pulled out all the stops to show just how much they love Jillian and Nick.
Speaking of amazing friends and family, when Jillian and Nick headed over to their DiMillo’s wedding reception they were greeting with trays of amazing cookies made by one of Jillian’s coworkers. But before they got to enjoy the cookies, everyone was treated to an amazing meal and gorgeous views!
I really enjoyed getting to capture this special day for Jillian and Nick, made even more special by everyone around them!
