Family portrait videos have my whole heart! We started doing video by following our kiddos around with our cameras. We wanted to capture more than just stills of their lives. Don’t get me wrong, we absolutely love having photographs to put on our walls - there’s a lot of research done that children feel more valued in their family when they see images of themselves hanging in their home. Our kids love seeing their images up on the walls in our home and get so excited when a new box of prints or album arrives.
But family portrait videos! Oh my. It captures everything about them. Their personality, their little voices, every last detail about them at this point in their lives. We worked with the D family to plan their photo and video session from the location to prepping outfits as well as planning and questions to ask little Miss A to get her talking, which she LOVED to do! so that part was pretty easy.
