Libby and Clarence's Portland Yacht Club Engagement | Falmouth, Maine
Libby and Clarence are world travelers! That meant that they were in Maine for their engagement session until the week of their wedding. With rain on one of the days they had open, we decided to move their session to the night of their rehearsal.
And what a night we got! I didn’t end up moving them around too much because we had the most spectacular sky over the harbor at Portland Yacht Club in Falmouth, Maine.
I arrived a little bit before our scheduled session because I wanted to make sure I could find parking at the club or time to walk over from the alternative parking up the street. Well it worked out in my favor because Courtney and her crew at The Maine Lobster Bake Co. were just finishing up dinner service. I grabbed a few details of the dinner service, truck and those yummy single servings of strawberry shortcake before I met with Libby and Clarence.
These two share a love of sailing and the water so naturally the club where they have their boat docked made the perfect backdrop for their session. We laughed about the names of the kids boats for sailing lessons - Clarence told me that some of the sassier names were probably the work of the adults. I could get on board with that! (Pun intended?)
