Long Sands York Beach Family Portraits | The V Family
When I first met with Sarah she stressed the importance of having their family portraits on Long Sands Beach in York. This session was a gift for her parents and Long Sands holds lots of special memories for them.
Of course the week they were in town it also happened to be rainy weather AND high tide at the best times to work on the beach. I spent a night, in the pouring rain scouting locations for their session to make sure we got all the right views for this special extended family portrait.
I’ll never say no to an extra night of location scouting either, because there’s usually a tasty dinner stop along the way! We recommend Hooks Chill & Grille in Ogunquit if you’re looking for some Caribbean inspired food! But I digress!
Sarah and her extended family were so much fun to work with! Little Miss A was such a great helper during the session. Not only did she have all the best poses but she helped with her little twin sisters and getting Mr. T comfortable in front of the camera. When he didn’t want to stick his toes in the water, Miss A gave him a little coaching and then he was totally game!
