Acadia National Park Family Portraits with the B Family
This family hiked the Beehive Trail together the morning before their session so naturally when we met up at Sand Beach for the beginning of their session, we had to go to the far side and incorporate Behive in the background.
For those of you who have hiked it, or seen photos, it’s a gorgeous trail but a steep one with lots of metal rungs and small walkways along a sheer cliff. Kudos to the B Family for hiking it! It’s one that I will “enjoy” only in photos. I’m not scared of heights, just my bad balance!
I’m so surprised that families will book with me after a full day of adventuring in the park. I’m always wowed by their endurance for spending a full day hiking then getting all dressed up for their session and trekking out again. I once had a family schedule a portrait session with me after the dad ran in the Ironman Race in town!! I need a nap mid-day just to make it through sunset. :)
