Old Orchard Beach Family Photos | The P Family
When Jen reached out to book her family session I had a good hunch that it was going to be a super fun evening. The P family were staying at a family home in Ocean Park and had the best walk to the beach ever! Their vacation home is right near where the Goosefare Brook meets the ocean and there’s always great light right there. Knowing that Jen had an outfit change in store for her family, we did a few posed portraits before heading over to the brook area to play a bit in the water.
Since the tide was incoming they got a bit more wet than we all expected but thankfully it was a short walk back to their house for a quick change into some brighter clothes and then we were off to Palace Playland to capture some bright family photos with the arcade games and rides in the background. After that there was one more outfit change up their sleeves - a spiderman costume.
When I first started talking with Jen about the session she told me her husband was pretty shy but his alter-ego comes out of his shell when he slides into his Spiderman costume. He even has getting into it down to a few seconds because at home he’s known to hop into it and get the door when the UberEats driver is there delivering their food.
Jen had in mind she wanted to recreate the upside down kiss between Spiderman and MJ but we were fresh out of brick walls so in true OOB fashion, we used the lifeguard stand and gave the image a beachy feel. They even stopped to greet a few kids (and kids at heart) who were so excited to see Spiderman just walking around the town.
