Winter Maternity Portraits in Old Orchard Beach
By the time this hits the blog these two will already be experienced parents with a nearly 4 month old at home. Actually, at the time of writing this, even before scheduling it out for the future, Kylie and Josh have already welcomed baby S into their family. And he’s adorable! These two are some of the kindest souls I’ve ever worked with. It all started a few years ago at their wedding - well I guess even before that at their engagement session.
Kylie contacted me about her maternity photos and really wanted a winter wonderland feeling and boy did they luck out! We happened to have the most beautiful, light and powdery snow storm the day before their session. As you can see it was still stuck to the trees and covered everything in magic. You can also see that it definitely was light and powdery as a breeze kicked up at one point knocking the snow from the branches above. It started off making a nice snowfall over them and then quickly turned to very chilly and “refreshing” when nearly ALL the snow fell from the trees right down their shirts.
Thankfully we were almost at the end of the session when that happened so they were able to quickly dust off the snow and hop back into the car for warmth!
I can’t wait to see their parenthood adventures!
