What an amazing day! I will never turn down the opportunity to get to work with animals so this Wedding Editorial at Southwick Zoo was so much fun! Not only did I get to meet some amazing and talented new-to-me vendors, but we got to make their vision come to life and have fun feeding the deer. Sadly, I didn’t get to feed the tigers they have on property, but I did get to hear them roaring off in the distance. I also learned that a Tiger’s roar will carry up to FIVE miles - one whole mile more than my children screaming at each other.
If you’re looking for a unique venue with a total experience for your guests you have to put Southwick Zoo on your wedding venue tour list! They have so many options for the property including your ceremony right in the middle of the deer forest. How unique is that? Your guests will be talking about that for years to come!!
Because this was an editorial shoot to showcase the property we worked with several different models throughout the day to really show off the property as well as a variety of gowns/attire for our models. The goal of shoots like this is to let each of the participating vendors have their creativity showcased and just get to show off the property and give couples ideas for their own day!
