Mollie and Drew's Forge on the Falls Wedding | Saco Maine
Ever meet a couple who just lights up a room with both of their smiles? Mollie and Drew are that couple. Both of them have a seriously infectious personality and smile that is so contagious. I loved working with them for their engagement session and even more so for their Forge on the Falls wedding this past weekend in Saco Maine.
In fact, their whole family is just amazing. Drew’s brothers were so much fun, even if one of them might be in for a “mom scolding” from me for getting up on the bridge and walking across the top of it, pretty high above the river. Mollie’s sister and brother were so much fun and her sister’s speech was filled with such heartfelt memories of them as kids and growing up. Definitely brought tears to pretty much everyone’s eyes - including Mollie and her sister. Not to mention they all have amazing hair! Even Mollie’s brother and brother in law were bridesmen and both got their hair done at the salon with the girls in the morning.
The couple picked the venue partly because they lived in the Mill and loved the fell of the venue, along with all of the outdoor spaces. Their ceremony space really gave the feel of a rooftop ceremony on the elevated mezzanine around the property. I loved all the brick and industrial touches - obviously because this whole complex was a working Mill at one point in the not too distant past.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside before heading inside to a gorgeously decorated space with candles and flowers. And let’s not forget the stunning dessert table and LIGHT UP cake - both made by one of her bridesmaids, a very talented baker from NY.
This was really such an amazing evening celebrating with these two!
I’m so excited to get to work at this new venue! We got to do a little tour of the space and the adjacent suites during COVID but it’s so fun to see if filled with a wedding!
