The P Family's Biddeford Pool Family Portraits
Every summer I get to explore a new area with the P Family. Some are new to me, others are places I haven’t been back to in a while but are itching to photograph at. I love how Heather is always looking to go somewhere different on their trip out! It really makes me get creative with locations.
It’s so much fun to see these boys grow over the years. Heather and I started off as mutual colleagues through our state Professional Photographers Associations, her in VT and me in ME, and have grown to friends over the years as we talk about all things photography and also a little banter back and forth on facebook! This past year I’ve come up with all the “finger” memes and jokes that I can because Hugh ended up cutting the tip of his finger off in an accident - so naturally I’m the comic relief!
This year was thankfully a great evening for them. Probably the best we’ve had in a few years! Last year they were rained out and the year prior smoked out with the smoke drifting in from the wildfires out west. I’m so excited to capture their smiling faces again! I give their session a 9.5! I’d give it a 10 but I can’t quite put my finger on why I didn’t. :)
