Greg and Emily's Surprise Proposal in Acadia National Park
Emily literally jumped for joy when Greg proposed. It was such a great moment.
Acadia National Park surprise proposals are always so much fun. I enjoy getting to the park before the sun is up and hunkering down in a beautiful space. I also get to enjoy a little bit of the sunrise before the proposal begins. Whether it’s sunrise or sunset, I work with all of my couples to find the best spot with the least amount of people so they can really enjoy the moment.
When working with Greg to plan his proposal I had to take into account that Greg’s parents and Emily’s mom were also planning to be there to witness everything - but Emily didn’t know! So there was an extra element of surprise built into this already momentous surprise.
After the “YES” moment that’s when the parents revealed themselves and Emily was so surprised. I was too! I found out the parents all flew in from Florida the night before, rented a car and drove straight from Boston up to Acadia. No sleep!
We headed around the park to give everyone a tour of the area, or at least the highlights, for more portraits of Emily and Greg before they headed into town to celebrate with a yummy breakfast.
