Old Saco Inn Wedding, Fryeburg Maine | Lindsey and Michael
As many family and friends mentioned throughout the day at Lindsey and Michael’s Old Saco Inn wedding was “FINALLY!” While their wedding was a long time coming according to everyone, it wasn’t too long. After all Lindsey and Michael met in the 10th grade when Lindsey approached Michael and asked him what time the bus was coming. When Michael responded with “I don’t know” Lindsey promptly told him “don’t worry, it’s coming at 4:30pm.” You know, real smooth like!
After that encounter Lindsey went home and told her older sister, Katie, that she was going to marry him. While 10 years later, here they are!
Their day started with a bit of overcast weather, but that’s okay because that makes the fall colors really pop! And being that the chose the Old Saco Inn in Fryeburg for their wedding meant that it was peak foliage and everything around them was so bold and bright. It really was the perfect accent to their perfect day.
At their first look the couple decided to exchange hand written vows to read to each other - just the two of them. It was a great moment and a perfect way to share those personal thoughts without a crowd. There were some tears shed and lots of smiles and laughs before Lindsey and Michael headed off to their ceremony in the woods by the covered bridge.
Once the ceremony ended and a few formal photos taken they headed up to the most amazing barn right on the property for their reception. Everyone sat down to an amazing fall themed meal and then jumped right up to party the night away!
