Abby and Bryan's Harmony Hill Farm Wedding
Bryan has been best friends with Joey since middle school. Abby went to nursing school with Lyssa. Lyssa is married to Brian. Brian golfs with Joey. Lyssa and Brian went to Joey's house for a bonfire, Bryan was at Joey's house. Lyssa called Abby to say she met someone single. The rest is history!
We’ve been looking forward to this wedding for about a year! We first met Abby shortly after we photographed her sister’s engagement session. It was right around then that she got engaged to Bryan and also reached out to us for her wedding!
We love working with family groups and seeing them year after year. I had already met a lot of Abby’s family but this time I got to meet Bryan’s family and his two adorable daughters who were so excited for the wedding!
When we arrived the girls were bustling through hair and make up and putting the finishing touches on everything for the day while the guys were relaxing at a lake house down the road enjoying some laughs and drinks. Once they arrived at the venue, Bryan anxiously waited for Abby and their first look under one of her favorite willow trees on the property. It made for perfect shade as the weather forecast called for clouds but it cleared right out and gave Abby and Bryan a perfectly sunny day. (And of course I forgot the sunblock, yet again!)
For the ceremony, lead by one of their friends, everyone gathered under the willow tree. There were tears all around as they exchanged their vows.
After the touching ceremony the couple headed off to the barn for their reception where they partied the night away with everyone!
