Anna and William's The Stone House Wedding at The Bar Harbor Regency

What an amazing weekend these two had! Actually, what an amazing life these two have had together so far. It’s hard to believe this is just the beginning of their lifetime of adventures! While we drove around to all the different spots in Acadia for their wedding portraits we learned how they’ve travelled the world - even as far as Jordan and Senegal! Hopefully they’ll eventually find their way to Maine - as both Will and Anna exclaimed many times throughout the weekend just how much they love it here. I’m so glad they got to share this experience with their closest friends and family.

Speaking of family and friends you can tell that Anna and Will really value them in their lives - as Will’s bother called them “Artichoke People”. He explained during his best man speech that it mean that their friends had so many layers, each as wonderful as the next. (That’s way better than the “ogres are like onions” analogy from Shrek!)

It was no surprise that their weekend focused on making memories, not only for themselves, but for those around them. With the venue for their Bar Harbor wedding selected with the help of a few family friends, they poured their hearts into making the evening a wonderful experience for everyone. Their weekend started with the rehearsal and lobster bake on the water where a good amount of guests had never cracked a lobster before and ending the weekend festivities getting to treat their guests to a beautiful sunset, complete with a rainbow! Now those are some solid Maine memories!

I love the laid back and classic vibe these two had for their entire day. We spaced everything out so that they had time to relax in between events and spend time with their guests who came from all over. There was plenty of time between their catholic ceremony overseen by the same priest who married Will’s parents and baptized him and his brother, to their tour around Acadia before heading back to relax before their Bar Harbor Regency wedding reception. Will even had time to get into his military uniform to kick off the cocktail hour with a Saber Arch.

Knowing how expressive these two are from some stories they shared with us, it was darn near impossible to narrow down images to share in their sneak peek post.
