Chris and Beth's Inn on Peaks Island Wedding
Chris and Beth were “rick-rolled” during their ceremony and the officiant made mention of R Kelly’s arrest record. And I think that’s everything you need to know to get your familiar with these two. We have so many photos of their heads tipped back in laughter throughout the day than anything else. These two know how to have a good time!
Every single guest at their wedding came in from out of state and was there party with these two for the entire weekend and the party did NOT stop. At any point.
The day started for the guests when they arrived via charter boat to Peaks Island and were greeted by a fleet of golf carts to take as many people as possible up the hill to the Inn. Those golf carts may have been involved in a real-life Mario Kart race earlier as we zoomed with the bridal party around the back of the island to get photograph their “album cover” and some portraits of Beth and Chris. But I digress.
As guests arrived into the gardens at the Inn on Peaks Island they were shown to their seats for the start of the show. It was the ceremony, but I mean show in all the good ways. Brendan, Beth’s cousin was the officiant and, while this was his first wedding, he worked it like he’d been doing this for years. So many laughs and stories about these two and how they met back in 2019 before moving in together and then being stuck together through all of COVID. Brendan thanked them for making it through so everyone could be there to party!
After the cocktail hour and dinner hour, with some of the best speeches we’ve ever had the opportunity to hear, the guests were welcomed inside the Inn for the dance party. The DJ armed everyone with giant foam glow sticks where they danced the evening away to booming 80’s music and a special appearance by Spiderman.
This was one of those weddings where we had so much fun capturing everything and were so exhausted by the end of the night - we felt hungover the next day!
